I need help

Well guys lately I have had no inspiration for building whatsoever, so I'm asking you guys to help me! If you find any cool pictures of builds please post them here for me if you would like to.

I would recommend playing another game with an amazing backdrop, or art direction. I've been playing the DLC to Bioshock: Infinite lately and the concept art that you can unlock has got me motivated for another build that Imma start soon.

I was going to mention BioShoke: Infinite but Legend beat me to it. Try playing games with amazing architecture. I know BioShoke Infinite helped me with building styles. Also try looking at architecture when you are on vacation or something (if you go on vacation). I know I do when I am traveling in new countries. I lost inspiration for a good 6 months. I got more involved with the survival aspect of the game. Eventually you will get back into the grind of building (hopefully D: )

Also, if you want to sample something MC related. Just go onto a list of servers and join some at random. Like us, they probably put a lot of effort into their spawn, and you can just have a 5 minutes look around to get some ideas.

 

sometimes watching the lord of the rings or the hobbit helps me... but often i just look through planetminecraft and think: try to beat this. i could also recommend you Lara Croft or Uncharted because there is some amazing architecture in this games

uncharted is PS3 exclusive titel by Naughty Dog... and idk if Lara Croft is for all consoles or on Steam

Check out the game Dishonerd, it has some great settings. That and just about anything Bethesda is involved in.

 

Oh and as for the quit minecraft for a bit poll, I think you should take break but come onto the server during that break and check out people's build and help people out with questions and suggestions. I find when I need a break from building that going around and helping people out for a bit helps me refocus when I get back to building. It also has given me a chance to get to know other builders on the server.
