What to consider when voting?
Please do not vote for someone just because they are your buddy, or they asked you to. Picks players that you truly think will make a great moderator and will represent the server well. If you are not familiar with a player, don't just skip them. Try to read their application, try to see how they present themselves in the game.
There is also no rush. The poll will close on the 30th of June. So take some time and evaluate those players that are running. See how helpful they are in game, and how they act and then ask yourself if they would be a good moderator or not.

We now have a calendar on the forum so it will be easier to keep up with what is going on.
On the top of the forum board you can see the Calendar link, and on the bottom at the main page in the board index you can see the current upcoming events, and birthdays.
Clicking on an event, will take you to that event's thread.
You can also get to the calendar by simply going to shadecrest.com/calendar

Nether is going to be reset on the 9th of April, so if you have stuff in there, get it out.

We have re-done the whole server!
It took over a week of work between 10 of the admins and mods to create this! Everything is so much better now! I hope everyone likes it!
We also cleared our ban list to giver everyone another chance!
Hope everyone enjoyed our little April Fool's prank!

Some plugins have not been updated, or I haven't gotten to fully testing them so some stuff will not work.

The server will update when Bukkit has a recommended build out for 1.2.
Don't ask us when we will update because we don't know. Feel free to check http://www.bukkit.org/ for their progress.
For now if you want to play on the server do not update! If you have, or want to, you can use the launcher found here to switch between different versions of Minecraft.
