Why I want to become Architect:
To begin, I have a passion for architecture. Ever since studying Ancient Rome in middle school, the art form has simply "clicked" with me. I like historical architecture in particular, such as Greco-Roman/Gothic structures. I feel that being architect will enable me to enjoy my passion more, with more powerful tools at my hands that make building easier and more effective. I've always wanted to build a replica of Ancient Rome, and I think that the commands -especially voxelsniper- that come with architect would make this project infinitely easier (and the terrain would look nicer).
Second, I wish to take up a leadership role in the community. I enjoy giving tips and assistance to learning builders, and I think that architect really stresses this role that I wish to assume. Although one does not need a title to take up a leadership position, titles certainly promote authority and credibility in a builder. Lastly, architect is the title that I have desired most, and earning the title after many hours of hard work will make make me very happy, for achieving my goal. This may seem selfish, however everyone needs some recognition every once in a while :).

How long I have been on the server(/seen): I've been on the server for around 2 months. Before this server, I played on Sanacraft and OneMore Block. However, when the former's community wasn't as interesting, and the latter was shut down, I decided to join this server.

Update: I really liked Chandler's idea to build 18th/19th century Paris around the cathedral, even though it isn't Notre Dame, so I looked at Paris maps that I found online, as well as Assassins Creed Unity maps of Paris, and I did my best to recreate what that portion of Ile de la Cite would look like. The right side of the cathedral may seem sparse, but in reality that is what it was like in the 18th century. If I get architect, I will most likely transfer that build into a larger space, finish up buildings that I couldn't fit in, and then create an Assassins-Creed-inspired adventure map.

Alright so I see that you understood my idea, but I don't think you followed out with it that well, or at least, not to architect standards just yet. Really its just the houses and the streets that need work, there just isn't enough depth in them. To show you what I would like to see, I made a street as an example. (qb helped some)

The warp is /warp paris if you want to see more.

But until you add more detail to the streets and houses I'm going to have to say no. But you're really close, just some minor changes could make me change my mind.

Nano I really, really love your cathedral. You have a great amount of detail that went into the build and you basically nailed the Washington State Cathedral.

To me it seems that it would be harder to build off of something like this, so it shows that you definitely know how to build.

The area that surrounds this beautiful build is what kills it for me. I'm not saying to necessarily change all the houses, but make them pop more and add some more color than making everything seem dead. One side of the cathedral even has an outline for a new build, and seems unfinished for the most part. Even though I feel that you are very close to becoming an Architect, I just don't think you are quite ready yet until you clean up the area surrounding the cathedral. Sorry to say, but it's a no
