Server Outdated?

I just updated to Minecraft 1.4.6 and then tried logging on to the server and it says that the server is outdated. Will that be fixed soon?

 

lol revert back to 1.4.5, the server wont update until a stabel version of bukkit comes out.

 

I am brand new to minecraft so I have no idea how to revert back...

protip: If you play multiplayer on non-vanilla servers, don't rush to get the newest update as soon as possible, because the server won't.

The Bukkit server platform has to be updated, then all the critical plugins have to be updated for the new Bukkit. It can take up to two weeks (or more), and the process is entirely beyond our control, so don't ask when we update—the only answer you'll get is "when Bukkit's ready."

Personally, I don't update until the server forces me to. I don't care how super special awesome all the shiny new features are; I can wait. u.u

 

lol bukkit just recently came out with a rb for 1.4.5

 

Anyone know when it wil update? My friend came around and updated it when I was busy

Reverting is easy.. and yes.. lots of plugins are a bit slow. I have to say I have not yet enjoyed an upgrade due to the havoc it causes the server and the players. It's a semi- painful process for all.
