It's almost as if my render distance wont go above a certain amount, I am on 20 render distance but clearly as you se it isn't loading that far. Any thoughts? EDIT: It wont go higher than 5, any higher than 5 and nohting happens
Is the issue only with that server, or is it with shadecrest as well? The server can limit the amount of chunks sent to the client. If the server is only sending you chunks in a 5 chunk radius, that's all you're gonna be able to see. Generally the option is used on servers with a lot of players in order to mitigate lag caused from sending updates to so many players at once. If it's not server specific though, I have no idea what the issue is.
