I am thinking of building a huge cruise ship, It will be almost full size. It will have everything a cruise ship would have: [li]Lots of decks[/li] [li]An engine room[/li] [li]A captains cabin[/li] [li]Guest cabins[/li] [li]A theater[/li] [li]Viewing decks[/li] [li]A resturant[/li] [li]A controll room[/li] [li]Lots of deck chairs![/li] If you think your building skills are good enough to help, Post a message here! I think the idea of building it in creative is a good one. Here's an images of a cruise ship that I thought we could follow, or at least get an idea from. I think each floor should be about 5 blocks high (floor to ceiling space) to allow us to make bars and things inside. What do you think? As many builders as possible would be helpful. Thanks Guys!
Okay, What do you guys think would be a good length/ Width? Length would have to be at least 100 blocks, if not more.
i can inspect the land u are building on and make sure its ok and ofc....u know....i can help build it as long as im not building by myself cuz i might screw up without someone doing it with me XD cuz unless its my own design....i cant do it without instructions, as you saw that house i built in our town was my design so it was no problem but since the ship isnt, it would take me alot longer to figure out what you were doing, just let me via pm who you know where you can find me ingame
...Is it wrong if this plan of yours reminds of the plans for the original Death Star?... I'd imagine that, if you want the ship to truly be fantastic, you'll need it at least five hundred blocks in length, 225 is width, 300 in height. Probably more in all dimensions. Not to mention the amount of iron we'll need... And we're most certainly going to need plot protections, the hull's probably going to be iron/diamond, the lettering lapis, the black decorative lining would be good in obsidian. Heh. If we built that, it'll make Delfino Valley look like Hooverville.
But that's laaaaame. Gotta make it where we want it, so it's a show of power to the rest of the world! Besides, it's cheating. Much more fun aquiring everything we need by hand

I think we would spend at least as long getting all the materials as building it. Creative would work well as you have free materials and magic carpit. Mabye the white and blue of the outside would be lapis blocks and wool?
As for the colours, I think mainly coloured wool for the bright bits, maybe wood for the inside (around the cabins) for a luxurious feel?
