This is my first statue ever.. and it's coming along nicely. She had a long dress before today, but it seemed boring, stiff and unshapely.. all covered in a 'skirt' that seemed messy to me so I deleted most of it and started over. I did a lot of her by hand.. but I decided to teach my self a bit of voxel and use balls size 2 , 3, and 5.. which helped tremendously ( after setting the lines.) I have been carving and shaping for some time to smooth it all out. I used Posemania.com per Teg's suggestion and took to heart PieSquared's advice..Remember, organics doesn't have straight lines. Z_milla taught me how to mask so I could put clothes on her. Hehe. I am going to add a dress but I want it to accentuate her form not hide it. Here's the statue before I started changing her.
