Stealing isn't illegal.

 

But theft while a member of a town is punishable by town rules... so this is on the wrong forum... go to your town thread? (and read the rules... it helps)

 

Just ask a mayor or town assistant. It's sort of like if someone gets a parking ticket in their hometown, they're not prosecuted by the federal government. It stays local.
